Hot Best Buy Bundle Couples Xbox One And 40” Samsung HDTV For Under $500

If you’re in the market for an Xbox One, and just so happen to be thinking about picking up a large screen HDTV at the same time, Best Buy has a hot deal in store that might be right up your alley. The consumer electronics retailer is offering up a Back to School special next week that will feature a 500GB Xbox One Halo: The Master Chief Collection bundle paired with a 40-inch Samsung LED HDTV (UN40J5200AFXZA) for just $499.98.

The Xbox One bundles regularly cost $349.99, while the Samsung HDTV would usually set you back $429.99, which means that you’ll end up saving $280 by going with this bundle offer.

If you ask me, this a pretty smoking deal, even if you don’t want the TV (which you can resell or hand off to a family member). It’s an even better deal than the limited time offer that Best Buy offered last week that included a 500GB Xbox One, an extra wireless controller (the revised one with a headphone jack) and a $50 Best Buy gift card for $349.99.

Best Buy hasn’t stated whether this will be an in-store-only affair or if it will also be opened up to online purchases. But we do know that the promotion runs from August 9th through August 15th.

Now is a great time to pick up an Xbox One if you haven’t already taken the plunge with a current generation console. The Xbox One is about to get a Windows 10 makeover and TV DVR functionality this November. In addition, the console supports streaming to and from a Windows 10 PC along with backwards compatibility with select Xbox 360 titles.

The Xbox One might not be putting up a good fight against Sony’s PlayStation 4 in the global sales race, but these excellent deals and feature additions for the console are just what the doctor ordered for those that simply want a great gaming system.
