If you have any money left over from
Steam's recent sales bonanza, you can head over to the Google Store and grab a variety of electronics at a discount. Google is having a summer sale of its own, which runs until next or while supplies last. During that time, you will find marked down prices on some of Google's most popular products.
Do you need a new smartphone? Google is currently offering the
Pixel 2 XL for $100 off its list price. The discount drops the price of the 128GB model to $849, and the 64GB model to $749. While nearly a year old at this point, the Pixel 2 XL still holds up well—it has a 6-inch QHD+ display powered by a
Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and 4GB of RAM. It also has a 5-megapixel front camera and 12.2-megapixel rear camera.
If you are in the market for a smart home speaker, you will find deals in that department as well. The original Google Home is on sale for $99, down from $129, or you can buy two of them and save $100 (effectively reducing the price of each one by $50). A similar deal can be had with the
Google Max speaker—add two of them to your shopping cart and Google ring up a $150 discount. And finally, the Google Mini is selling for $34 right now, down from $49.
There are several other that are on sale as well. Here's a handy roundup of links (or hit the link in the via field to go straight to the Google Store):
Google's Nest products are not on sale, and neither is the regular Pixel 2, the latter of which is odd to us (since the Pixel 2 XL is discounted). Still, there are plenty of interesting items that are currently marked own.
The sale runs in the United States until Tuesday, July 17, a day after
Amazon's Prime Day sales event kicks off.
