Firefox For Windows 8 Touch Beta Is Live For Download
It's a redesigned Firefox, with a tile-based design that feels right at home on the Windows 8 start screen. It's built for tablets, touch-screen laptops and "other compatible devices," including all-in-one PCs. Firefox for Windows 8 Touch Beta supports Touch and Swipe gestures such as ‘pinch to zoom’ and one-touch swipe transitions. Moreover, you'll find full, snapped, and fill views, and Windows Share integration allows you to easily share a complete page or a snippet or content to any of your social networks.
Mozilla cautions testers to see Firefox Beta as their default browser before digging in, but otherwise, feel free to give a new and improved Firefox a whirl. We suspect that the final version will be out shortly for those who aren't down with installing anything other than a final edition.
