The first new product from Elgato since it was announced that Corsair was acquiring part of the company has now landed. The Stream Deck Mini slots into the line of Elgato streaming and video production tools for gamers. Stream Deck Mini is a smaller, cheaper and less complex version of the the Elgato Stream Deck for gamers that don't need all the bells and whistles of the original. Stream Deck Mini has six fully customizable LCD keys that allow content creators to switch scenes, launch media, control chat, configure unlimited actions, and more.
"When Stream Deck launched just over a year ago, it gave content creators access to a level of tactile control that was traditionally exclusive to mainstream entertainment broadcasters," said Julian Fest, VP & General Manager of Elgato. "Stream Deck Mini is every inch a Stream Deck. It keeps all the same functionality, in a smaller form factor, and at a more attainable price."
The device can be used for automatically detecting scenes and sources and posting to social media channels among other things. It can integrate into leading tools and platforms used by content creators including OBS Studio, XSplit, Streamlabs, Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, and Mixer.
Drag and drop setup lets users drag actions onto keys and assign ready-made icons to the keys or create their own original images. Elgato says that the Stream Deck Mini can be used to enhance onscreen action with one button access to things like GIFs, images, videos, and soundbites. Keys also support multiple actions with a single key being able to launch several actions that can be separated by intervals or launched at the same time. Stream Deck Mini is available right now on Amazon for $99.95.
