Dells Outs New Line Of Ultra HD 4K Monitors

The welcome onslaught of 4K is coming, and Dell is getting into the game with a line of Ultra HD monitors for consumers, power users, and business pros alike. There are three models for the time being, one each at 32-, 28-, and 24-inches.

“We are excited to announce Ultra High Definition monitors in sizes and price points that will be compelling to customers seeking higher resolution,” said Bert Park, Dell vice president and general manager, Displays and Client Peripherals, in a press release.

All three monitors include Dell’s service and warranty coverage, including the Dell Premium Panel Guarantee that ensures a full replacement if there are any pixels on the display that end up looking janky.

The Dell UltraSharp 32 Ultra HD Monitor is available now and costs $3,499. The smallest unit in the trio, the UltraSharp 24 Ultra HD, will be available globally on December 16th (and available now in the Americas) and will run you $1,399.

The middle monitor, the UltraSharp 28 Ultra HD, is actually the least expensive of the three; Dell says that when it launches in early 2014, it should be the industry’s most affordable 4K monitor. The company didn’t divulge an exact price, but promised that it will be “under $1,000”.
