Corsair Unwraps SCIMITAR PRO RGB Gaming Mouse And K95 RGB Platinum Mechanical Keyboard At CES

Are you ready to take your gaming, well “game”, to the next level? Corsair has just launched its SCIMITAR PRO RGB gaming mouse and K95 RGB Platinum mechanical keyboard at CES 2017.

According to Corsair, the SCIMITAR PRO RGB gaming mouse is “customization leveled up”, and was designed with MMO and MOBA players in mind. It is based on the Key Slide 12 side-button design, but also includes a 16,000 DPI PMW3367 optical sensor that provides accurate, high-speed tracking. The twelve optimized side buttons were designed to provide tactile feedback and precise actuation, while the patent pending Key Slider macro button control system allows for 8mm of key travel. The mouse comes with three predefined profiles that can be easily changed to fit the user’s preferences. CUE software enables gamers to program custom MMO timer countdowns, double macros, DPI matrices, etc.

The SCIMITAR PRO RGB gaming mouse is available in both yellow and black finishes. Gamers can customize their backlighting with “nearly unlimited lighting adjustability”. To top it off, the mouse has been crafted to fit into the palm of most gamer’s hands and the textured side button keycaps provide enhanced grip.

Corsair has also unleashed its K95 RGB Platinum mechanical keyboard. According to Corsair this keyboard, “combines a trademark CORSAIR anodized aluminum frame with the very latest in premium keyboard technologies to redefine what gamers can expect from a high-end keyboard.” Like the SCIMITAR PRO RGB gaming mouse, the keyboard features a PMW3367 PIXART 16,000 DPI optical sensor and Corsair Utility Engine (CUE). Users can choose between the high-speed, low-travel Cherry MX RGB Speed switch, or the Cherry MX RGB Brown’s tactile feedback. Every key press supposedly registers correctly and users can assign keystrokes to to any of the six dedicated macro keys.

The keyboard will be available in black and gunmetal anodized finishes. Users will be able to adjust the color and illumination of each key on the LightEdge light bar. They keyboard was designed with textured and contoured keycaps and detachable, dual-sided soft-touch wrist rests.

The SCIMITAR PRO RGB gaming mouse is available now for roughly $89.99 USD. The K95 RGB Platinum mechanical keyboard will be available later this month for roughly $209.99 USD.
