Apple Watch Ultra 3 Is $250 Off At Best Buy But Time Is Ticking
Time is money, and Best Buy is making a compelling case for a high-end smartwatch. As part of its deal of the day promotion, the retailer is slashing $250 off select Apple Watch Ultra Series 3 models, making the last-gen flagship more accessible to shoppers who want top-tier gadgets at less than top-tier prices. That's not to say it's inexpensive, but if you're in the market for an Apple Watch Ultra model, the $250 in savings makes a compelling argument for going last-gen.
Apple Watch Ultra Series 3 Drops To $549 At Best Buy
Talk about a timely deal. For today only (presumably), you can snag the Apple Watch Ultra Series 3 for as low as $549 at Best Buy (save $250), or $649 depending on the style and band type. Either way, it's a $250 savings over MSRP.
The sale covers several configurations with Apple's Ocean Band, Alpine Loop, and Trail Loop, in both natural and black titanium finishes. If you prefer a dressier look, select models with the Titanium Milanese Loop are also discounted.
Whichever one you choose, you're getting the same 49mm titanium watch with the same underlying hardware and features. Key highlights include two-way satellite comms with messages, a dual-frequency GPS, a wide-angle OLED display with up to 3,000 nits of brightness, heartrate tracking, hypertension notifications, sleep tracking with sleep apnea notifications, and up to 42 hours of battery life (up to 74 hours in low power mode).
The Ultra models are also more durable and more water-resistant than the non-Ultra models, making them more suitable for outdoor adventurers. For example, Apple says the Ultra Series 3 is water-resistant up to 100 meters (versus 50 meters for the Series 12). It also features a depth gauge up to 40 meters versus just 6 meters.
If you must have the latest and greatest, however, you can still score a deal. The Apple Watch Ultra 4 is currently on sale for $699.99 at Amazon (12% off, save $99.01). Some notable upgrades include a faster S11 chip (versus the S10), twice the RAM (4GB compared to 2GB), an upgraded health sensing system, and longer battery life at up to 50 hours (or 84 hours in low power mode).
