If you are planning to fly
American Airlines
from November 1 through November 7, you may be in for a special treat. The
airline and Lexus are starting the season of giving early by offering free
Wi-Fi in flight on equipped aircraft. The
Gogo Inflight Internet service
lets customers connect to work or home by offering access to email, social
media sites, e-shopping, news, and much more from laptops, smartphones, and
PDAs.
"American and Lexus want to give customers a little
something special this fall by offering free Wi-Fi," said John Tiliacos,
American's Managing Director - Onboard Products. "We continue to focus on
improving the customer's experience and with this special offer, we hope our
customers enjoy this opportunity to connect inflight for work or fun as the
busy holiday season kicks into gear."
To take advantage of the offer, you'll need to enter the
promotion code 2010LEXUSLS to connect to the service. More details about Wi-Fi
on American are available at
www.aa.com/wifi.
The offer coincides with the introduction of the new 2010 Lexus LS line.
American Airlines launched onboard
Wi-Fi in August 2008. The
service is currently available on American's Boeing 767-200 aircraft and select
MD-80 aircraft.
