eMachines Launches Three New Desktop PCs, LCD

eMachines may not be a mainstay in the home PC market yet, but it's been a solid contender for years now. As the company's quality and design prowess has improved, it has finally come around to dishing out rigs that are quite appealing. For instance, have a look at the three newest desktops, all of which are respectable rigs for handling basic tasks and light duty gaming.

The ET1300-02, ET1810-01 and ET1810-03 desktop PCs boast a new design scheme for the company, and all are aimed at budget minded consumers that still want a good bit of performance. The boxes include AMD or Intel processors, between 2GB and 3GB of DDR2 memory, NVIDIA graphics, a 160GB to 320GB hard drive and prices ranging from $299.99 to $449.99.

Complementing the new PCs is the eMachines E182H wm 18.5-inch widescreen LCD display, which matches the design seen on the desktops and boasts 720p support (1366 x 768 resolution), built-in speakers, a 10,000:1 contrast ratio, a 5ms response time and 300 nits of brightness.
