Sony has begun shipping a new flagship phone, the Xperia XZ2 Premium, though you better be ready to spend some big bucks if you want to bring one home. The handsets costs $999.99 (let's just call it a grand), and there is no cheaper option. There also is not a more expensive option—it is available in a single configuration. Do you need a new smartphone and have $1,000 burning a hole in your pocket? If so, you can resolve both problems by heading over to Amazon and pre-ordering Sony's Xperia XZ2 Premium, the company's newest flagship phone. To help soften the blow, Sony is including a set of its Xperia Ear Duo wireless earbuds, which retail for $280 when purchased separately. Oddly enough, the pre-order listing on Amazon doesn't mention the earbuds. However, Sony stated in a press release last enough that they would be included when purchasing the pricey handset from Amazon, so we are going on the assumption that Sony (and Amazon) will in fact make good on that promise.
