The tablet market may have seen better days, but fresh entries will soon be making their way to the market. We talked this morning about the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, and the rumors persist about a 12.9-inch Apple iPad Pro. But AT&T today announced its first self-branded tablet: the Trek HD. The Trek HD is about as basic the come with regards to entry-level tablets, and includes a 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, an 8-inch HD display (AT&T doesn’t specify, but we’re assuming 1280x720), 16GB of internal storage, a microSD slot, 2MP front- and 5MP rear-facing cameras, and a 4060 mAh battery that is good for eight hours of battery life.
