With the release of the high-powered Android flagships (LG G4, Samsung Galaxy S6/Galaxy S6 Edge, HTC One M9) out of the way, there hasn’t been much going on in the smartphone arena; well at least not until the OnePlus 2 makes an appearance later this month. Thankfully, LG is hoping to liven things up in the mid-range market with the G4 Beat, which packs in the look and feel of it its G4 big brother into a slightly smaller package. The One M8s features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 System-on-Chip (Soc) and 2GB of LPDDR3 memory powering the 5-inch Full HD 1080p display. Storage chores are handled by 16GB of built-in NAND flash memory and expandable via a microSD card slot. Other tidbits include a 13-megapixel and depth sensing rear-facing... Read more...
