Windows 10 fans have a new feature to look forward to that is currently being rolled out in the latest Windows 10 Redstone 4 (Insider Preview Build 17063). The new feature was previously promised, and Microsoft has delivered the Timeline feature, if a bit later than expected. This test build is available now to those on the Windows 10 Fast Ring insiders for PCs as of December 19. Timeline is an extension of the Task View that is currently available on Windows 10. Microsoft is looking to put a new spin on the windowed multitasking workflow that we've all become used too over the past three decades. Browser makers figured out a long time ago that we can be more productive with a tabbed interface for the sometimes dozens of websites that we might frequent on a daily basis. Microsoft is extending that same idea to how we use our apps in Windows 10. Microsoft is calling this new Windows 10 interface "Sets", and it allows you to group together Windows apps into tabs within a single window.
