Just over two weeks ago, HotHardware brought you reviews of both the Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX and its more sedate sibling, the Ryzen Threadripper 2950X. The Threadripper 2950X is built on AMD's 12nm Pinnacle Ridge architecture and is in essence the replacement for the first-generation Threadripper 1950X. Earlier this month, AMD officially pulled the wraps off the first members of its 12nm Zen+ family of Ryzen processors. The SKUs announced included the Ryzen 5 2600 and 2600X along with the Ryzen 7 2700 and 2700X. However, AMD intends to fully flesh out Zen+ with SKUs both below and above these already released processors. Luckily, some sleuthing has uncovered quite a few incoming processors that will satisfy both mainstream and enthusiast customers.
