Amazon is adding two new devices to its Prime Exclusive Phones lineup, and both come from Motorola (a subsidiary of Lenovo). The Moto Z3 Play and Moto G6 Play will both be available starting June 29th unlocked out of the box. The Moto G6 Play is the more affordable entry, priced at just $189.99. In return, you get a 5.7-inch 1440x720 display, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Back in June 2016, Amazon introduced its "Prime Exclusive" phone program, which offers Prime subscribers attractive smartphones with budget pricing. The catch, however, is that you have to put up with lockscreen offers and ads to take advantage of the favorable pricing. For example, the fourth generation Moto X has a suggested MSRP of $400, but it is offered for $280 unlocked as a Prime Exclusive. Likewise, the LG Q6 falls from $300 to $180 as a Prime Exclusive. Amazon launched its Prime Exclusive Phones program for people who dislike smartphone contracts and prefer to buy a device outright, unlocked for a reduced price. In the past, Blu has been on that program and was booted from Amazon due to spyware concerns, only to return shortly after. Buyers can now choose from several LG smartphones via the Prime Exclusive Phones program. The phones available include the LG X charge with its massive 4500 mAh internal battery and fast charging support.
