This past weekend, the HotHardware team hit up PAX East in Boston, Massachusetts. We could not leave without checking out the MSI booth. We were fortunate enough to have Lenny Tang, associate marketing manager of MSI, give us a tour of the company’s latest Camo Squad limited edition gaming laptops, motherboards and graphics cards. MSI’s Camo Squad designed gaming products are being brought to market by the company in honor of the release of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands. In case you haven’t already noticed, we’ve been at PAX East 2017, which is being held in Boston. HotHardware already brought you some hands-on coverage of the hot new Nintendo Switch and the new Samsung Notebook Odyssey, but the folks from Maingear had some rather delightful PC gaming goodness on display in the form of the R1 Razer Edition Gaming PC. This particular boutique gaming desktop was painted with a custom automotive finish (in this case, the Lime Green that you’d find on a Dodge Challenger Hellcat) and there are plenty of other custom touches throughout, including the custom liquid cooling system, which has hand-cut polished nickel-plated metal tubing. If you were to guess that the Nintendo Switch would make a big splash at this weekend's PAX East 2017, held in the sporting city of Boston, you'd be absolutely correct. However, considering that big N's latest console just dropped a week ago, that's no real surprise, perhaps. HotHardware's fearless leader, Dave Altavilla, as well as our own security guru Chris Goetting and tech news and reviews editor Brittany Goetting (a dynamic duo for sure), hit up the PAX show floor and found that Nintendo was in fact drawing some big crowds.
