Nearly a year ago, McLaren went huntin’ for venerable Porsche’s 911 Turbo and the new-age Audi R8 with its 570S supercar. Nestled in its carbon monocoque chassis beats a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 which pumps out 562hp and 443 ft-lbs of torque. For some people, the 570S was perhaps a bit too raw to deal with on a daily basis, so the folks at McLaren have come back with the 570GT, which brings us the same basic vehicle that has been tuned more for comfort than all-out balls-to-the-wall performance.
