The Mass Effect: Andromeda team has published a post on the official game website confirming that the single player story is over. Rumors circulated back in July that the story would be ended, and that rumor has now been confirmed. Fans of the franchise will undoubtedly be angry at this turn of events. The sad reality of gaming is that it is not uncommon for a title to ship with bugs. Some have a few crawling around while others are infested to the point where even the Orkin man would cringe. After plenty of hype and anticipation, Mass Effect: Andromeda fell somewhere in between, leaving many gamers feeling disgruntled with the state it shipped in. After much hype and anticipation, Mass Effect: Andromeda launched to an eager crowd of gamers, only for many player to quickly become fed up with the game's various bugs. A glance at Metacritic shows a user score of just 4.8 based on more than 2,314 user ratings. The good news is Bioware has heard the grumbles and is currently readying a patch that will address many of the game's issues. The long and arduous wait for Bioware's space epic Mass Effect: Andromeda is nearly at an end. That is because the game finally has a release date—Aaryn Flynn, General Manager of Bioware announced today that Mass Effect: Andromeda will launch in North America on Tuesday, March 21, 2017. It will then release a couple of days later in Europe on Thursday, March 23. "We appreciate your patience (and in fact, even your lack of patience in some instances) as we’ve been focused on completing the game," Flynn stated in a blog announcing the release date. Mass Effect fans will have to stay sharp and focused if they are to have any hope of surviving the brutal landscape in Bioware's upcoming Mass Effect: Andromeda game. Bioware recently posted a 4K trailer of the third-person shooter that shows off lots of actual gameplay footage, and there is plenty to look for, including a barrage of enemies that don't take kindly to the protagonist's presence. If you’ve been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the latest installment the Mass Effect series, you’re going to have to wait a bit longer.
