Solid state drives (SSDs) have taken over the gaming space thanks to their blazing fast speeds compared to HDDs and their downward-trending pricing that make then even more attractive. Seagate is homing in on the performance aspect with its new FireCuda 520 gaming SSD. The FireCuda 520 uses the newly adopted PCIe 4.0 interface, which means that the only consumer platform out there that currently fully supports it is AMD's X570 for Ryzen 3000 processor.
