Amazon bills the Kindle Oasis as its “thinnest and lightest Kindle ever,” but those proclamations come at a huge cost — $289.99 to be exact. The Kindle Oasis takes over as the flagship of Amazon’s Kindle family and does so at a price point that is far higher than even the $199 Kindle Voyage (which was already criticized for its high price). Luckily for us (and for you), the device has leaked out ahead of its official unveil, as is usually the case with today’s tech gadgets.
