Owners of Halo: The Master Chief Collection for the Xbox One can now download Remnant, a re-imagined version of the Halo 2 multiplayer map, and Halo 3: ODST, Microsoft and 343 Industries announced. The latter was previously promised as part of an apology for the many problems that plagued the massive Halo collection from day one. For this release, the Halo 3: ODST campaign has been enhanced and runs in 1080p at 60 frames per second for the first time. In a blog post today, developer 343 Industries announced that Halo 3: ODST and Halo 2's Relic map remake are both on track to be added to the collection next month, details of which will be shared at a later date. Those details will include the final map name for the Relic remake, specific release date, and more.While you wait, you can enjoy some new features and bug fixes courtesy of a currently available content update.
