Epic Games has finally caved to the backlash and has nerfed the BRUTE mech that has been angering Fortnite players so much since it was introduced. The devs announced this week that major changes to the BRUTE had been applied in all game modes. No patch needs to be downloaded to implement the changes. However, it remains to be seen if players will embrace the BRUTE now that its power and impact has been significantly reduced. Epic has changed the rockets fired in a single charge from 10 to six. If you've been following the Fortnite scene for the past few weeks, then you know what the hot topic of discussion is right now. We of course are talking about the B.R.U.T.E. mechs that were introduced in Season 10. These two-person war machines are outfitted with sturdy armor, shotguns, missile launchers and can dish out incredible damage by stomping on opponents. Needless to say, many veteran Fortnite players, and pro streamers in particular, are simply fed up with these overpowered menaces. Week two of Fortnite Season 10 is here and with it comes a new weekly mission for Battle Pass holders to partake in. The new mission this week sends players to find lost spray cans. As with all similar challenges where you have to find things, the difficulty is in locating the cans without getting taken out during the search. The good news is there is a handy map that will help you locate the spray cans below, so you can get going with your graffiti-induced creativity. The next season of Fortnite is going to start off with a bang. Epic Games just released a teaser trailer for Season 10 of Fortnite that features an explosion. Season 10, which starts August 1st, will also likely include callbacks to past seasons. Epic Games posted a teaser trailer for Season 10 on Twitter that shows a glowing orb exploding over Loot Lake. Several cracks have already appeared in the orb over the last several days. The orb materialized after the Season 9 finale live event. Cattus, a pink robot, battled a monster dubbed Doggus.
