Fiat-Chrysler (FCA) has announced a new infotainment platform that will be used in its vehicles all around the globe. The new platform is called Uconnect 5, and it aims to deliver an intuitive user experience and third-party recognition with the Android automotive operating system. FCA says that the processing speeds alone are five times faster than its predecessor. One key feature of the new system is Uconnect pioneers personalization with up to five user profiles plus a valet mode. The system allows the user to reestablish vehicle preferences and settings with the touch of a button. Dodge is really into muscle cars and it's a wonderful thing. The SRT Demon is out of production now with the last one rolling off the assembly line early this month and the burly 9.65-second quarter mile runner will be missed. But don’t fret, Dodge has something new for you in the form of a hotter Hellcat. Dodge packs 707hp into the normal Hellcat and for 2019 the Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye channels a bit of the Demon and ups its game with a revised supercharged Hemi engine. Dodge says that the Redeye uses its most powerful V8 engine with 797hp and 707 lb-ft of torque.
