In general, notebooks have remained the same for well over a decade. They've grown thinner, they've become more powerful, and more ports have emerged, but the general premise hasn't changed much. Apple took a nice step in the right direction with the button-free, multi-touch trackpad, but Acer may have just taken things to the next level.The Acer Aspire Ethos range makes itself special with a touch-screen trackpad; yes, a trackpad you can actually see on. The display isn't 1080p or anything, but it does have enough pixels to show some basic functions and allow for certain tweaks right from the trackpad.
