LG Display has been a staunch supporter of OLED (organic light emitting diode) technology, so it comes as no surprise the company will be unveiling new OLED products at this year's Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. Among them is a rather nifty 65-inch bendable OLED that rolls down from the ceiling. As far as LG Display is concerned, its newest take on the bendable/rollable display "points to the future of home interior design." When it comes to smartphones, Samsung isn’t afraid to take design risks. The company arguably created the phablet category with its original Galaxy Note and brought sleek (if not always practical) curved screens to the masses with the “Edge” lineup. Now, according to a new report, Samsung may be bringing bendable OLED displays to its smartphones as soon as next year. In fact, according to Bloomberg, Samsung could release at least two smartphones in 2017 that are equipped with bendable displays.
