As of late, AMD has been dominating in the desktop processor space. Its latest Ryzen 5000 Series CPUs have taken the lead over Intel, and people are looking to upgrade as a result. Intel just announced an array of new products including powerful 6-core Core i9 and Xeon mobile processors, a family of 8th Gen Core processors with Iris Plus Graphics, updated consumer and commercial Core desktop processors, and the first Optane Memory laptop solutions. Amidst the dizzying array of products that were announced, Intel also unveiled a new family of 300 series chipsets with enhanced audio and I/O, targeting both the consumer and corporate product segments.
