Vonage Introduces iPhone, iPod touch, & BlackBerry Apps

VoIP provider Vonage revealed applications for the iPhone, the iPod touch, and BlackBerry devices that will provide unlimited international calling to 60 countries. The iPhone and iPod touch apps will let users make unlimited Vonage Mobile calls in the U.S. via a Wi-Fi connection without using up cell phone minutes. For BlackBerry users, the new Vonage Mobile app lets you make unlimited international calls from your BlackBerry from any cellular area in the U.S.

Although the apps are free to download, an unlimited international calling plan will run you $24.99 per month. If you're already a Vonage World for Home customer, you'll save $10 per month on
Vonage World Home by having both options. The company also offers separate calling rates to specific countries.

The apps are now available via the iTunes Store and Vonage's mobile Web site.
