ViewSonic Announces ViewPad 10e
ViewSonic is adding to its line of tablets with the ViewPad 10e, announced today. The 9.7-inch tablet will feature a 4:3 ratio, a 1Ghz Cortex A8 processor, and 4GB of built-in storage (expandable to 32GB with a microSD card). For connectivity, the ViewPad 10e sports wireless 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, and a minin HDMI connector.
As far as software goes, the tablet comes with the ViewScene 3D interface, which includes customizable panels and widgets and access to an online marketplace. Amazon Kindle is also baked in for convenience.
Pricing will be announced in early November, when the tablet officially launches. Although availability is currently limited to the UK, it’s reasonable to expect that we’ll see the ViewPad 10e on U.S. shores at some point in the future.

Virtually hidden within the slim device is a range of connectivity options that ensures the ViewPad 10e is connected and makes an impact wherever it goes. The Wireless b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity ensure high speed data transfer when required. The Mini HDMI connector offers a display output of up to 720p resolution, making the ViewPad 10e a strong portable media playing device.
The ViewPad 10e does not just have impressive hardware specifications; Amazon Kindle is pre-installed providing immediate access to 700k+ books, magazines and papers, all displayed as they were meant to appear on the extra wide viewing angles an IPS panel brings.
