One of the most popular set of earphones on Amazon is available for a measly $18 today, after using a coupon code. It's the AUKEY Latitude Wireless Headphones with three EQ sound modes, a sweat-resistant nano coating so you can run and workout without ruining them, and Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity. While normally priced at a very reasonable $26, applying coupon code L6MWTC6C at checkout knocks them down to $18.
There is quite a bit of value here for an inexpensive set of earbuds. Rather than take a one-size-fits-all approach, AUKEY includes three sizes of ear-tips and in-ear ear-hooks for a customized, firm fit with noise isolation. It also comes with a USB cable for charging and a carrying pouch, and in-line volume controls. On the paper side of things, AUKEY tosses in a user manual and a 24-month product replacement warranty card, so you don't have to worry about these crapping out weeks after you buy a set. There's also a 45-day money back guarantee in case you don't like them. Hit the source link below to grab this deal, or just click right here.
AUKEY claims you can squeeze out 8 hours of music (around 120 songs) of playtime in between charges, or 240 hours of standby time. It takes about an hour and a half to charge these earphones back to full strength.
These are sports earbuds that are designed to stand the rigors of working out. Part of that entails IPX4-certified water resistance, so if you like to go for jogs in the rain, you can do that here. The earbuds also have magnets to connect around your neck when you're not wearing them in your ears.
User reviews are mostly positive, with this set garnering a 4 out of 5 star rating from nearly 1,100 users. At this price, you can't really go wrong. It's also worth noting that the coupon code works on multiple quantities—we ordered two of them prior to posting this, and the coupon code knocked both down to $18.
Again, the via link below takes you to the product page on Amazon and then just drop in the coupon code L6MWTC6C at checkout.
Update: 6/10/2018 - By Dave Altavilla - We actually decided to jump on a pair of these headphones to see what the out-of-the-box experience was like, as well as the audio fidelity you can expect from them. Check it out...
Setup was very straight-forward. Included in the small box, AUKEY bundles a short USB to microUSB converter cable but no charger. You'll need to plug them into any USB power source, whether it be a PC port or available phone power brick; anything will do really. Pairing them with multiple phones we have here proved to be painless and easy, once you place them in pairing mode by holding down the power button until the status LED blinks alternating orange and blue colors. The buds themselves fit very comfortably in the ear and the built-in ear insert wing (for lack of better words) holds them in place well. Like Bose SoundSport earbuds, these AUKEY buds should stay put, regardless of whether you're sitting still or rocking them for a workout in the gym. Sound quality, on the other hand, was a bit of a mix bag.
To some listeners, the impression was these were good-sounding buds, with good highs, open mids and reasonably good bass response for simple earbuds. However, I'm personally spoiled by my Bose IE2 earbuds and felt the AUKEY Latitudes sounded thin and tinny in comparison. Highs were crisp and tight with clear midrange and good spatialization. However, bass response, in comparison to the Bose buds, was lacking and generally kind of weak. That said, I personally have very finicky ears and have never listened to another set of earbuds that I was actually completely satisfied with, in comparison to my Bose earbuds. Other family members who tested these felt otherwise, however, and noted that, especially for their bargain $18 price, they were a solid value and a quality product. Especially if you're working with use cases like hands-free calling with the built-in mic, these inexpensive wireless buds could serve you well. We're still testing battery life performance but all told, AUKEY's Latitude Wireless earbuds appear to be a worthy investment of your $18, if you're in the market for a set of wireless Bluetooth buds.
