G.Skill Launches Record-Breaking Trident Z Series 4400MHz 32GB DDR4 Memory Kit

About a week ago we talked a bit about the Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 32GB memory kit that operated at 4,333MHz and claimed the title of the world's fastest 4x8 32GB kit. That title lasted only about a week for Corsair because G.SKILL has just launched a new, and even faster 4x8 32GB DDR4 RAM kit. G.SKILL calls its kit the Trident Z series DDR4-4400MHz 32GB kit and, as you can tell by the name, it operates at a blistering 4,400 MHz.

The new RAM kit offers timings of CL19-19-19-39 at 1.5V. G.SKILL notes that with the introduction of the ASUS OptiMem technology that complements its T-Topology layout with equalized trace lengths, it was able to deliver the fast operation speed with improved stability, allowing it to nab the world record. G.SKILL says that it builds this memory kit with rigorously tested and binned ultra-performance Samsung B-die DDR4 chips.

G.SKILL writes, "After the launch of the 8th Gen Intel Core processors and Z370 chipset motherboards, G.SKILL has been constantly pushing DDR4 speeds faster than ever before to higher levels with various capacity configurations. With the availability of the ASUS OptiMem technology, which complements the T-Topology layout that uses equalized trace lengths, four-DIMM memory configuration has improved stability and memory overclocking performance. G.SKILL Trident Z memory once again achieves the world’s fastest 32GB memory kit at the ultra-high DDR4-4400MHz speed, with an exceptionally aggressive timing of CL19-19-19-39 in 32GB (4x8GB) at 1.5V. Below is the screenshot of the memory kit being stress tested and demonstrating its stability on the ASUS ROG MAXIMUS X HERO (WI-FI AC) motherboard with the Intel® Core™ i7-8700K processor."

This RAM kit is programmed with Intel XMP 2.0 profile to easily enable memory settings in BIOS. G.SKILL also reminds overclockers that they can also of course tweak timings of the memory to squeeze out every bit of available performance. Pricing and availability are unannounced at this time.
