T-Mobile, Sprint Offer Deep Discounts On LG G6 And V20 Ahead Of Flagship V30 Debut

LG G6 Front
The LG G6 was first announced back in late February, which seems like ages ago when it comes to flagship smartphones. Since that time, we’ve seen a number of competitors enter the fray including the Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, OnePlus 5, Essential Phone and Motorola Moto Z2 Plus.

With that in mind, third- and fourth-place U.S. wireless carriers T-Mobile and Sprint are offering discounts on both the LG G6 and the LG V30. Over at T-Mobile, the LG G6 is being offered for $20 down and $20 per month, which makes its total price $500. Likewise, the LG V20 is available for $0 down and $20 per month, bringing the total outlay for that device to $480.

To make the deal even sweeter, purchasing either device on an Equipment Installment Plan will make you eligible to receive a second G6 or V20 free after rebate (the rebates comes in the form of a prepaid MasterCard for $480 or $500 depending on which “free” phone you select).

Sprint also has some G6 lovin’ going on, discounting the device from $708 down to $480. For those on installment plans, this means that instead of paying $29.50 per month, you’ll pay just $20 per month.

We thought very highly of both the LG G6 and the LG V20 when we had them in for review, and the latter’s replacement is just around the corner. The LG V30 is set to debut on August 31st and is expected to feature a 6-inch OLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, a “world first” f/1.6 smartphone camera and UX 6.0+ enhancements.
