Surc iPhone Case Adds IR Control For Home Cinemas

Apple's iPhone has grown into something far more robust than just a smartphone. Thanks to the blossoming App Store, nearly anything is possible with it now. Using it as a remote control has been a concept embraced since the early days of the app store, even by Apple themselves. But to really control an entire home cinema setup, you need external hardware that can handle Infrared. Surc is that hardware.


The company's newly announced case, which will be compatible with the iPhone 3G, 3GS and 4, has an embedded IR sensor in it.
