Super Talent Ships Apple Certified DDR3 Memory
Not long after Samsung (among others) started ramping up DDR3 memory production, Super Talent has just announced a new line of its own. The flash storage maker has today started shipping its freshest DDR3 DIMMs, which just so happen to be certified for use in Apple machines.
Super Talent Director of Marketing, Joe James, had this to say about the new modules: "This new line of Mac DDR3 memory is built specifically for, and is certified for use in Apple systems. Our engineers have done extensive compatibility testing to ensure that customers can enjoy a no-hassle upgrade." All of the RAM is backed by a lifetime warranty, and while this stuff should go just fine in your Windows / Linux machine too, at least those of you with picky Apple motherboards can rest assured that the DIMMs listed below will function fine. Too bad there's no price to share, but we'd expect to pay a small premium here -- got to love the 'Apple tax,' right?
