Samsung’s Exynos 7420-Powered Galaxy Tab S2 Revealed In Leaked Press Render
It's getting increasingly difficult to keep a secret on the Internet. Just ask Samsung, which is planning to release a Galaxy Tab S2 tablet. We know this because a leaked render that looks like an official press image (minus the giant watermark) has made its way to the web courtesy of Twitter user @OnLeaks, who posted an angled top-shot of the forthcoming slate.
Samsung has yet to officially announce or acknowledge the Galaxy Tab S2, the successor to the Galaxy Tab S that won our Editor's Choice award last year, though based on leaked information up to this point, it looks like the Korean hardware maker will launch a pair of tablets in June. It's said the Galaxy Tab S2 will come in two different sizes -- one with an 8-inch display and another with a 9.7-inch screen, both reportedly of the Super AMOLED variety with 2048x1536 resolutions.

What you see above is the 9.7-inch version. It will reportedly ship with a 64-bit octa-core Exynos processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB (or more) of built-in storage flanked by a microSD card slot, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, LTE connectivity (optional), 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera, 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, and Android 5.0 Lollipop.
From the leaked image, we can see what looks like a physical home button along with power and home buttons on the right side towards the top of the device. Towards the bottom of the right side are likely the microSD slot and SIM card slot. Finally, we can see front-facing camera and ambient light sensor. All this comes wrapped in a thin metal frame.
