If you’re worried that you’re going to be terribly confused about which products will become what, Samsung provided a helpful chart.
The company also announced an ultrabook and a laptop today. The 14-inch (1366x768) Samsung ATIV Book 5 ultrabook runs on an Intel Core i5-3337U (1.8GHz) processor, 4GB of memory, a 500GB HDD paired with 24GB ExpressCache, and Intel HD 4000 integrated graphics. The 4.19-pound PC also offers 2W JBL Stereo Speakers, 720p HD webcam, and a 6.5-hour battery.
The beefier Samsung ATIV Book 6 has a 15.6-inch (1920x1080) display with SuperBright technology with an Intel Core i7-3635QM (2.4GHz) CPU, 8GB of RAM, a 1TB hard drive, and AMD Radeon HD 8770M graphics inside.

The final Samsung announcement of the day concerns SideSync technology, which will be introduced later this year and allows users to sync their Samsung ATIV PCs and mobile devices when they’re connected via a USB cable. For example, you can edit files stored on your phone with your PC keyboard, drag and drop files between the devices, and even reply to a text message with your PC. SideSync will be available on all ATIV models and on Android-based Samsung devices, to the extent that it will actually be pre-loaded on the company’s Windows 8 PCs.
