Amazon Deals Huge Ring Video Doorbell Discounts Over 30 Percent Off, Free Echo Dots

Amazon has some deals that are going right now on the Ring Video Doorbell 2 and the Ring Video Doorbell Pro that offer up to 32% off the popular doorbells, and throw in a freebie to boot -- an Echo Dot 3rd Gen smart speaker. These doorbells make it easy to keep an eye on your front porch and see who is at your door.

The Ring Video Doorbell Pro bundled with the Echo Dot 3rd gen smart speaker is offered for $209.99, which is a 30% discount off the normal $298.99 price. Buyers can get the doorbell, Echo Dot, and a two-pack of smart bulbs for $269.00. The Ring Video Doorbell 2 bundle is offered for $169.99, which is a 32% discount off the regular $248.99 price.

The Alexa-powered Echo Dot works with the Ring Doorbells to receive announcements when the doorbell is pressed, or motion is detected. Users can hear and talk to the person at the door via the Echo device. When paired with an Echo Show, users can also see who is at the door.

Both the Ring Video Doorbell 2 and Video Doorbell Pro are 1080p Full HD devices. The main difference is that the Video Doorbell 2 can be powered by a battery or hardwired. The Video Doorbell Pro can only be hardwired. The Pro also has advanced motion detection and supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz wireless networks. The Video Doorbell 2 only supports 2.4GHz networks.

It's not clear how long these discounts will be offered. Amazon last offered Ring discounts in July on Prime Day when the original Ring Doorbell with Echo Dot bundle was half off its regular price at $70.
