Razer Outs Basilisk Ultimate And Basilisk X HyperSpeed Gaming Mice

Razer has announced a pair of new gaming mice that are in the Basilisk range. The mice include the Razer Basilisk Ultimate and the Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed. Both of the new gaming mice are powered by Razer HyperSpeed wireless technology that claims to be 25% faster than any other wireless gaming tech. HyperSpeed promises the lowest click latency of any wireless mouse technology and supports Advanced Frequency Hopping.
The Razer Basilisk Ultimate is equipped with the same Focus+ 20K DPI Optical Sensor that is used in the Razer Viper Ultimate gaming mouse. The Basilisk Ultimate adds new features like Smart Tracking, Asymmetric Cut-Off, and Motion Sync for improved tracking accuracy. The mouse also uses Razer Optical Mouse Switches that need no physical contact to send electrical signals to the PC.

Onboard memory profiles allow the storage of up to five different profiles for personal settings wherever you may be. Razer says that the mouse is good for up to 100 continuous hours of gaming per charge. The mouse also supports wired mode for use when the battery is dead. Razer Chroma lighting is integrated, and the mouse is compatible with the Razer Mouse charging dock. The mouse alone sells for $149.99, and a bundle with the mouse and mouse dock is $169.99. The mouse is available now.

The Basilisk X HyperSpeed is a 16000 DPI optical sensor mouse, the same sensor is used in the DeathAdder Elite. This mouse works in both Razer HyperSpeed Wireless mode and Bluetooth connectivity mode. In Bluetooth mode, the mouse has 450 hours of battery life. It features onboard DPI storage and has six programmable buttons and uses mechanical mouse switches. The Basilisk X HyperSpeed mouse will sell for $59.99 and is available now. In other Razer news, the company recently introduced wireless earbuds called the Razer Hammerhead.
