Pebble App Store Launching Feb 3rd Alongside Next-Gen Pebble Steel
Pebble’s CES announcements included a new, higher-end version of the Pebble smartwatch as well as a dedicated app store, and the upstart company is delivering on its promise on Monday, February 3rd.
The Pebble app store will be the place that Pebblers can get over 500 dedicated apps, which are organized into categories such as Daily, Tools & Utilities, Notifications, Remotes, Fitness, and Games. As you can see in the screenshot, you can also just have a look at all the apps at once if you like.

The software update bringing the app store to iOS and Android devices (although the Android version is reportedly slightly delayed) also includes a Locker feature where you can stash all your favorite apps. You can keep eight “watchapps” loaded onto the Pebble at a time, and Locker makes it easy to swap those around whenever you like.
The second generation Pebble smartwatch, the Pebble Steel, is also now shipping with a price tag of $249.
