Patriot Memory Expands Viper Xtreme DDR3 Series

Patriot Memory added new densities, speeds, and triple-channel kits to its Viper Xtreme series of DDR3 memory solutions. There are now new Sector 7 (tri-channel) kits that come in 12GB and 6GB capacities with speeds of 2000MHz and 1600MHz. The company is also offering new Sector 5 (dual-channel) kits in 8GB and 4GB capacities with 1600MHz speed. According to Patriot, the Viper Xtreme Series uses a custom designed heatshield with a hefty copper insert to offer better thermal performance in heat dissipation in comparison to aluminum based heatshields.
