T-Mobile has some good news for fans of the OnePlus line of smartphones. The OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren is coming to the United States as a T-Mobile exclusive and will take advantage of the carrier’s 5G network.

T-Mobile promises that its 5G network will cover 200 million people around the nation this year, and the rollout of the 5G network is ahead of schedule according to the Un-carrier. The OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren is one of two phones launching on the network that will be able to tap into the 5G on 600 MHz spectrum.

The launch for the smartphone on the T-Mobile network is a surprise, ad it wasn't expected to come Stateside when it was announced earlier this month. The specifications of the smartphone we already know. It will pack a 6.67-inch Fluid display, 90 Hz refresh rate, and QHD+ resolution for a smooth experience.

The device also has a trio of cameras with a 48MP main camera, 3x optical zoom, and a 117-degree Ultra-Wide-Angle lens. Power for the smartphone comes from a 4075 mAh internal battery that charges quickly thanks to Warp Charge 30T. That fast charging scheme can fully charge the device in an hour. Since the device is McLaren branded, the phone case has Alcantara on it just like a sports car. T-Mobile doesn't call out specs like the RAM and storage; we assume it's the same that was announced earlier this month by OnePlus.

That would mean a Snapdragon 855+ processor matched up with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The operating system right out of the box is OxygenOS 10.0, based on the new Android 10 OS. In the UK, the McLaren Edition was priced at £799, T-Mobile is mum on pricing now.
