If you’re itchin’ to get your hands on NVIDIA’s brand-new SHIELD TV Pro or SHIELD TV, and don’t want to wait until the end of the month when they officially launch, you might have a chance to score one early from Best Buy. NVIDIA has already started shipping the new 4K media streamers to Best Buy locations around the United States in preparation for next week’s launch.

The folks at Android Police obtained screenshots of Best Buy’s internal inventory management software that shows listings for both the SHIELD TV Pro and SHIELD TV; the former carries the SKU 6370425, while the latter’s SKU is 6370422. So, if you’re lucky, you just might be able to walk into a Best Buy location, fire off the SKU to a floor representative and have them retrieve either device for you (if they aren’t paying attention to the “on display” date of October 27th).

This method has already worked for a few lucky SHIELD fans, as some redditors have already managed to snag the devices. One redditor, Bubba_Nosferatu, even managed to post images of both the SHIELD TV Pro and the SHIELD TV already sitting on Best Buy shelves with their previously rumored prices of $199.99 and $149.99 respectively.

The all-new SHIELD TV Pro and SHIELD TV first leaked a week ago via product listings on Amazon and Newegg (which were quickly removed once the public caught wind of them). Both 4K streamers are powered by the new NVIDIA Tegra X1+ processor which is 25 percent faster than its predecessor and feature support for Dolby Vision HDR, Dolby Atmos, and Dolby Digital Plus. Also shared between the two devices is a brand-new voice remote with more dedicated buttons and IR blaster functionality for operating your HDTV.

The two devices mainly differ in form-factor, with the SHIELD TV Pro taking on the more traditional look complete with dual USB 3.0 ports for hooking up external storage for your media library. The SHIELD TV, on the other hand, is a smaller, cylindrical dongle that only supports storage expansion via a microSD slot.
