NVIDIA And Parvum Sponsor Jaw-Dropping Custom Ultimate GeForce Gaming Rig With Embedded Acrylic Water Cooling
The main requirement was to design a custom case that would showcase the kickass hardware lurking inside -- specifically the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti. The case is custom-milled from aluminum and features an embedded water cooling system constructed of clear acrylic, which has to be seen to be believed.
Inside the case, you'll find the following components:
- Intel i7-6850K 3.60GHz (Broadwell-E) Socket LGA2011-V3
- ASUS X99-E WS USB 3.1 Intel X99 DDR4 EATX
- Kingston HyperX Predator 16GB DDR4 PC4-24000 C15 3000MHz
- Samsung 960 PRO Polaris 2TB M.2 2280 PCI-e 3.0 x4 NVMe SSD
- EK Water Blocks EK-KIT S240 Performance Watercooling Kit
- Silverstone SST-SX700-LPT SFX-L 700W 80 Plus Platinum Modular PSU
Looking at the specs, we were initially surprised that the "Ultimate GeForce PC" didn't include 18-core Intel Core i9-7980XE or a 16-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X. After all, those brand new processors are the talk of the town when it comes to current enthusiast-class gaming rigs. However, Broadwell-E power should be more than enough to lay down some pretty epic benchmark numbers in your favorite games.
With that being said, NVIDIA is auctioning off the system for the GameChanger Charity, and one lucky winner will go home with this 48-pound beast. You can donate as little as $5 for one entry into the drawing, while high-rollers can donate $100 and receive 20 entries (interestingly, there's no discount/additional entries for going with a higher dollar donation).
