NVIDIA Is Prepping A 'Super' GeForce Surprise For Computex 2019

GEFORCE SUPER
NVIDIA appears to have something waiting in the wings to take on a looming Navi threat from AMD. The company has posted a teaser video for an upcoming product that could be unveiled next week at Computex 2019.

NVIDIA isn't really giving us much to go on with the teaser, but the video is entitled "Something super is coming..." and the word "SUPER" is lit up at the end. So, what exactly does NVIDIA have lined up for gamers with this release?

We heard rumors last week that NVIDIA would be releasing a refresh of its Turing-based GeForce RTX and GTX graphics cards. Reports indicated that we'd see boosted GPU clock and GDDR6 memory speeds to further increase performance. NVIDIA’s Turing family is already comprised of the fastest gaming GPUs on the market, but a little bit of extra juice is always welcome.

We don't know for certain if that's the basis behind "Super", but it's quite possible. Could we potentially see a GeForce RTX 2070 Super or a GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Super? It sounds rather silly, but we wouldn’t rule anything out at this point.

We do know, however, is that NVIDIA has an event scheduled for May 27th at 2:30pm where we could possibly learn about these new “Super” GeForce SKUs.
