Nokia First To Roll Out Windows Phone 8.1 Devices - Lumia 630, 635, and 930
Hot on the heels of Microsoft announcing its upcoming Windows Phone 8.1 update, Nokia unveiled a trio of handsets built around the platform. They include the Lumia 630, Lumia 653, and Lumia 930, the latter of which has the distinction of being Nokia's new flagship smartphone. As such, all eyes will be on the Lumia 930 to see if it can pull users away from iOS and Android.
Starting at the top, the Lumia 930 sports a 5-inch OLED Full HD 1080p display (441 pixels per inch), Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz, 2GB of RAM, 32GB on onboard storage + 7GB of free cloud storage, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, 1.2MP front-facing camera, 20MP rear-facing camera, 4G LTE connectivity, and a 2420mAh battery.
As Nokia is known to do, it focused heavily on the camera. The 20MP PureView camera on the 930 features ZEISS 6-lens optics, dual LED flash, auto-focus with two-stage capture key, high resolution zoom, and optical image stabilization. Look for the Lumia 930 to roll out globally in June for $599 before taxes and subsidies.
Nokia also unveiled the Lumia 630 and 635, both of which are intended to drive the Windows Phone 8.1 platform into emerging markets. They're nearly the same device except that the Lumia 630 comes in single- or dual-SIM flavors, while the Lumia 635 is only available with a single SIM slot, however it does support 4G LTE.

Otherwise, both come rocking a 4.5-inch display with an 854x480 resolution (221 ppi), Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage + 7GB of free cloud storage, microSD card slot, 5MP rear-facing camera with auto-focus, and 1830mAh battery.
The Nokia Lumia 630 will roll out in May priced at $159 for the single-SIM variant and $169 for the dual-SIM option, while the Lumia 635 will be out sometime this summer for $189 before taxes and subsidies.
