SNK Announces NeoGeo Mini Christmas Edition With More Games On Board
SNK's NeoGeo MIni is unique in the world of miniature retro gaming consoles. The system is shaped like a small arcade cabinet complete with a built-in arcade style controller and a 3.5" LED display. This really helps the system to standout against the likes of the NES Classic, SNES Classic, and upcoming PlayStation Classic. If you don't feel like gaming on the small screen you can connect the system to an external display via HDMI. The system also comes with two gamepads for multiplayer fun.
The limited Christmas Edition of the NeoGeo Mini one-ups the standard edition by including an additional eight games. SNK also replaced a few titles found on the standard edition with new ones. The expanded game library plus the substitutions gives the Christmas Edition a total 22 games not found on the standard machine. Most of the games found on both systems are major titles such as Metal Slug that would be missed by any fan of old console.
