The Optix MAG24C has a Full HD (1920x1080) resolution display that aims to impress with a curved screen (1800R) and a 144Hz refresh rate. Response times are listed at 1ms (thanks to its VA panel), the brightness rating is 250 nits and it features a contrast ratio of 3,000:1.

Other features include support for AMD FreeSync, 178-degree viewing angles (vertical and horizontal), 85% NTSC and 110% sRGB color representation, blue light reduction technology, and MSI Anti-Flicker technology.

Given that the Optix MAG24C is marketed as a gaming monitor, you won't be surprised to learn that it has RED LED accent lighting effects on the back of the display to spice things up a bit. The display is also adjustable for tilt, swivel and height, and includes a Gaming OSD for customizing monitor modes and settings.

On the connectivity front, the Optix MAG24C has DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort connections, along with an audio port for your headphones.

The MSI Optix MAG24C is available right now from Newegg priced at $249.99 (or $239.99 after a $10 rebate card). If you don't want to mess around with rebates, you can get it from Amazon for $239.23.
