MSI Hints At Motherboard With Bigfoot Technology NIC Integration
MSI is a respected motherboard manufacturer, and while we aren't specifically told that a new mainboard with Bigfoot's technology will be embedded, this line gives us good reason to believe that's what on tap: "press can see for themselves the benefits a Killer 2100 gaming network card can offer as an upgrade to even an industry-leading motherboard."
Also, Michael Howse (the CEO of Bigfoot Networks) was quoted as saying the following: "We are pleased to be working with MSI. The Killer 2100 gaming network card is a perfect complement to the MSI Big Bang family of mainboard solutions that will give gamers a competitive edge in online play."
We'll have to wait and see what exactly will be revealed, but it's not too early to read between the lines. More mainboards with a focus on smoothing out online gameplay? We'll take it!
