Motorola One Vision Photo Leak Confirms 6.2-inch Punch Hole Display, Exynos 9610 Expected

Some details have leaked about the next Android One smartphone coming from Motorola; the device is tipped to be called the Motorola One Vision in most markets and the Motorola P40 in China. The rumor claims that the smartphone will run the Samsung Exynos 9610 SoC that is found on board Samsung's Galaxy A50. The image you see below is a rendering leaked by Tigermobiles that shows the same design as previous renders that leaked via other sources.

The renders confirm that the front camera will peek through a hole punch display, and it has been noted that the phone will have a 48MP rear camera. The screen is a 6.2-inch unit, and the front camera is in the top left corner of the screen. The rear camera is a dual sensor arrangement with the primary camera being a 48MP shooter. Rumors claim that while the camera is a 48MP capable, its default shooting resolution will be 12MP and Moto uses a Quad Color Filter Array to improve noise reduction and per-pixel details.

Video recording via the rear camera will reportedly utilize "Video 3D HDR" and "Long Exposure" features, but there are no hard details on exactly what these features will do for the video. Further details gathered are that the Samsung SoC will be paired with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM and 32GB, 64GB, or 128GB of storage. Power will come from a 3,500 mAh battery and will charge via USB-C. Motorola also fits the smartphone with a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The device will launch with Android 9 Pie and is part of the Android One program. Being part of the Android One program means that Motorola has to provide at least two years of platform updates and three years of security updates, although that doesn't mean Motorola won't add apps or some level of skinning on top of the OS. The last Motorola One smartphones we talked about were the Motorola One and One Power last summer but this latest entry by Moto looks promising.
