Motorola's Moto G7 Power Is Like A Pocket Nuke With A 5000 mAh Battery
We'd expect a beefy battery in this smartphone given the "Power" designation, and Motorola doesn't disappoint. According to a new FCC filing, the Moto G7 Power will have an absolutely massive 5,000 mAh battery. Given what we already know about the upcoming Moto G7 Play, this move now makes sense.
The Moto G7 Play has been called out by the FCC as having a 2,832 mAh battery, which is much smaller than the 4,000 mAh battery found in the current Moto G6 Play. That leaves the new Moto G7 Power to take over the helm as the endurance champion in the family.
While the Moto G7 Power will no doubt be able to last a couple of days (if not more) under normal usage patterns, don't expect for it to be a performance beast or have high-end specs. For starters, the Moto G7 Power will only have a single camera on the rear instead of the dual, triple or even quad cameras that are becoming popular these days. There will also be a single front-facing selfie camera to capture your smiling mug.
With regards to performance, XDA-Developers says that its little birdies claim that the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 632 processor paired with an Adreno 506 GPU. There will be versions of the smartphone available with either 2GB, 3GB or 4GB of RAM while storage options include 32GB or 64GB.
It's also rumored that the Moto G7 Power will have a 6.22-inch display, will come from the factory with Android 9 Pie installed and will be available in Black, Silver, and Blush colors. Unfortunately, there is no word on exactly when any of these Moto G7 phones will be available.
