LG Optimus G Pro Bears a Smaller Screen in Japanese Market
As the successor to the LG Optimus G (see our review), the Pro model boasts a Full HD 1080p display resolution with ZeroGap Touch technology, 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, 2.1MP front-facing camera, 13MP rear-facing camera, 32GB of built-in storage expandable via a microSD card slot, 3,000mAh battery, and Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.
It's every bit a high-end smartphone (we hesitate to call it a full-blown phablet considering the shrunken screen size, though 5 inches is admittedly still large), and it will land in the U.S. market sometime this quarter. As for exactly when, LG has yet to announce a specific release date.
